Many people are looking for different ways to lose weight. However, it is very important to learn healthy ways to lose weight and not follow weird, trendy diets that can be detrimental to your health. Some diets have been developed to treat chronic conditions and should not be used for weight loss. Lets learn some ways you can lose weight in a healthy way.

Weight loss tips:
Eat healthy snacks between meals such as:
Fruits
Vegetables
Nuts
Yogurt
Granola Bars
2. Avoid overeating
Night snacking is very common. Many people feel the need to eat something sweet before bed. This is a habit that will take time to change, but it is not impossible to do. When you feel the need to snack during the night, eat fruits that are filling such as apples with a glass of water. This will decrease the sugar cravings and will also provide you with a better sleep.
When you eat and feel full. Do not try to finish the food that is left on the plate. Take it to go or put it in a bowl for later. If you are the type of person that does not eat left overs or does not like to take food to go, try ordering or making foods that are smaller in portion size.
Always make sure that your plate looks like the MyPlate. Half fruits/vegetables, 1/4th carbohydrates, and 1/4th protein. This will increase your fruit and vegetable consumption, make you feel fuller, and decrease your calories.

3. Drinks plenty of water
-During the day we eliminate over 32oz of water from our bodies, even while doing the minimum. We eliminate even more in very warm weathers and while exercising.
-The human body is mostly water and it is important to maintain the water balance in our bodies to keep out organs functioning properly and be healthy.
-Consuming over 36oz of water a day can help you manage your weight by making you feel fuller and also keeps you hydrated.
Keto Diet:
This is a diet developed to treat people with epilepsy that have chronic convulsions. This is a diet extremely high in fat because scientists have found that high fat decreases the amount of convulsions. Because of it extremely high fat content (70% fat) it can be detrimental to the health of the individual that does not have epilepsy. It is looked as a great weight loss diet because it is a very low-carb diet, however, there are other diets such as low-carb diet or MAD might be a better suit for weight management. These are better and healthier for the individual without epilepsy.
