The FODMAPs Diet is an elimination diet that can help manage the GI symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Unlike other diets, the Low FODMAP Diet is about monitoring your reaction to high FODMAP foods and finding a diet that suits your individual body.

FODMAP Diet
The FODMAP Diet restricts certain foods including fruits and vegetables for various reasons. Some may be because of their high fructose (a type of sugar) content or high fiber. However, fruits and vegetables are still fully nutritious and must be consumed to achieve an optimum diet. This is why it is so important to consult with a registered dietitian during this process, to help guide you and keep you healthy and well.
Monash University
Monash University does research on IBS and has constructed the FODMAP Diet App. When you buy this app you have access to list of foods that are low FODMAP (Green), Moderate FODMAP (Yellow), and High FODMAP (red). This makes it very easy for people to know what they can or cannot eat and explains the reasons why.
